each company is different and of course it may vary by market/area.
I pay 30 dollars a month and that covers all five lines on my family share with att.
att,sprint, and verizon all have an option to add unlimited text, pix,flix, and im”s to any person on any network.

unlimited with ATT is $20 for an individual line and $30 for the family talk

if you need minumum minutes, then i would suggest
virgin mobile
you get 200 daytime minutes,
and 500 nights and weekend minutes,
which is $25
then you can add unlimited texting for $10
i reckon that $35 is pretty reasonable.

I would say pick Verizon. They have unlimited texting for $20 a month and then a family plot unlimited texting for $30 a month.
AT&T- Single=$20/month Family=$30/month
Sprint- Single=$20/month Family=$30/month
Tmobile- Single=$15/month Family=$30/month
